MIAMI, OKLAHOMA - The Cherokee Nation is sponsoring the Ottawa County Farm Show Saturday, March 27 at the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Equine Center in Miami, Oklahoma."We will be have information on programs that can help farmers and ranchers", said Steve Swogger, agriculture liaison with the Cherokee Nation.
Representatives from the OSU Extension Center, USDA, and Cherokee Nation will be on hand to answer questions and will conduct a workshop titled, "Thorns, Horns, and Vines". The workshop topics include grapes, goats, and thistle control.
Admission to the farm show is free and the Cherokee Nation will provide a free meal to all farm show attendees.
