CATOOSA, OKLAHOMA - Cherokee Nation Enterprises will be hiring for hundreds of positions at a job fair in Catoosa this Friday and Saturday."We are looking for people to fill jobs from management to entry level," said David Stewart, President and CEO of Cherokee Nation Enterprises (CNE).
The job fair will be held at the Cherokee Casino Employment Center located at 18 S. 193rd East Ave., directly south of the 193rd East and Admiral intersection in Catoosa. The job fair runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Most of the jobs are directly related to the Cherokee Casino and Resort at I-44 and 193rd E. Avenue. The Cherokee Casino and Resort will feature a newly redesigned Cherokee Hills Golf Club, a new 150-room hotel and resort and an expansion to the existing casino.
The jobs will include banquet and buffet servers, waitress and waiters, bartenders, cooks, housekeeping staff, stewards, porters, valets, front desk staff, as well as employees for the new casino expansion.
CNE personnel will be accepting job applications and putting applicants through a selection process during the job fair. The process consists of some testing, including a pre-employment drug test, and interviews.
Applicants should bring two forms of identification to the job fair. CNE is a drug-free environment and does random drug testing. CNE offers employees a total compensation package including health insurance, 401k, competitive salary and education assistance.
