TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA - The Cherokee Nation will host an appreciation dinner for retiring State Senator Herb Rozell and retiring State Representatives Larry Adair and Jim Wilson on Friday, July 16 at 6 p.m.“They have had a huge impact on Cherokee Nation and this entire area,” said Chad Smith, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation. “We want to show them how much we appreciate everything they have done while in office.”
The dinner will be held in the Cherokee Nation Community Room, located behind the Restaurant of the Cherokees. Dinner is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Seating is limited to the first 200 in attendance.
“This is an opportunity for the community to say thanks and wish them well,” Smith said.
