MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA - The Cherokee Nation will present their 'Outreach to Farmers' presentation at the Muskogee Regional Farm, Lawn and Garden Show, Friday, March 5 at 2:30 p.m.

The Cherokee Nation 'Outreach to Farmers' program is designed to provide information to the Cherokee people about the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the programs that are available to help them.

"This presentation will be able to help the Cherokee people take part in federal programs that they didn’t participate in before", said Steve Swogger, agricultural liaison with the Cherokee Nation. "The main goal is to get people familiar with the USDA and what this organization is all about."
