Cherokee Language Class to Begin in Spavinaw

SPAVINAW, OKALAHOMA - The Cherokee Nation is sponsoring a 10-week Cherokee language class, which will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Monday night at the Ribbon Baptist Church near Spavinaw, Oklahoma beginning October 13.

This class is for anyone interested in learning to read, write and speak the Cherokee language. There is no fee to take the class, all books and materials are provided free of charge. Russell Feeling is the instructor.
