DEWEY, OKLAHOMA - Cherokee Nation Tribal Youth Council members recently held their monthly meeting at the VFW building in Dewey, Oklahoma.

Cherokee Nation Tribal Council members, Buel Anglen, William G. "Bill" Johnson, and Cara Cowan were on hand to speak to the Tribal Youth Council members.

The council members spoke about applying for college scholarships and discussed the new Cherokee Nation Constitution. They also talked about the Cherokee Nation budget and how the Cherokee Nation Executive branch and Legislative branch worked together in getting the budget passed on schedule.
