VINITA, OKLAHOMA - The Cherokee Nation will host a meeting on managing wildlife on June 5 at 5:00 p.m. at the Craig County Fairgrounds in Vinita.The meeting will feature exhibitor booths, dinner, and guest speaker Erich Langer of the United States Fish and Wildlife Department.
"You can learn about the United States Department of Agriculture programs and get the newest information on the 2002 Farm Bill", said Steve Swogger, agriculture liaison with the Cherokee Nation.
The show will also offer information on services available to farmers from the Cherokee Nation Agriculture office and participants will have a chance to win door prizes.
The public is invited to attend and the Cherokee Nation will provide a free meal at 6:00 p.m. Please make reservations for the free meal before June 2, by calling (918) 256-6882 ext. 3.
