STILWELL, OKLAHOMA - Cherokee Nation Industries (CNI) is approaching the end of the fiscal year with a strong bottom line and improved profits. CNI is reporting a net profit of $1.1 million through 10 months of its fiscal year and two of CNI’s four divisions are showing a profit."Our goal is to grow the business to where we become a major source of revenue for the Cherokee Nation", said Jim Majewski, president and CEO of CNI.
CNI, a wholly owned corporation of the Cherokee Nation, employs more than 150 people in northeastern Oklahoma.
"CNI has always been a good neighbor in the local community", Majewski said. "We want to continue to grow and provide more jobs for our people right here in Adair County, in the heart of the Cherokee Nation."
