CHC Offers Cherokee Flute Making Class

TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA - The Cherokee Heritage Center is offering a flute making class Saturday, June 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tim Kingfisher will teach the class. Participants will learn the basics of flute making and make a Cherokee river-cane flute. The cost of the class is $30 and this includes all materials needed.
The class is part of an educational program by the Cherokee Heritage Center designed to teach and preserve Cherokee arts and crafts. For more information and registration call the Heritage Center, phone: 918-456-6007 (ext.31).
