The Cherokee Nation History Course is being offered to residents of Orange County and surrounding areas.To be held at: Orange Unified School District, District Offices Board Room, 1401 N. Handy Street, Orange, CA 92867
Driving directions: Take the 55 Freeway (or Costa Mesa Freeway) north or south to Katella Avenue exit. From there, go east to Handy Street. Turn right on Handy and follow the access road around to the back parking lot. The room entrance is off this back parking lot.

9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.The registration fee is $10 per person. The registration form must be received at the Cherokee Nation by 5:00 P.M., February 26, 2003. Seating is limited.
As seen in the Cherokee Phoenix and Indian Advocate, this course has received widespread acclaim from the thousands of tribal employees and community members who have participated in it.
Now as part of a new initiative to rejuvenate our knowledge of language, culture, and history, all Cherokee Nation citizens, as well as the general public, are offered the opportunity to enrich their understanding of the Cherokee Nation and people.
