MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA - Cherokee Nation will be having a grand opening ceremony for their new clinic location of the Muskogee Health Center Monday, September 23 at 4:00 p.m.
"We were busting at the seams in our old facility." said Shawn Terry, senior director of clinical operations for the Cherokee Nation Health Service Group. "This new space will really help us spread out until we can build a permanent facility. The new clinic is much nicer and will also have adequate parking for our patients."
The Muskogee Health Center currently serves only women and children. Programs offered are WIC, behavioral health, human services, public health and a licensed dietician.
The public is welcome to attend this open house ceremony, tours will be given, refreshments served and door prizes will be awarded.
The clinic has relocated to 1805 N. York Street from its previous location at 212 South 38th Street. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Patients can schedule appointments by calling 918-687-0201.
