TAHLEQUAH, OK - Cherokee Nation Tribal Council member Harold DeMoss recently received a plaque for his dedication and service to the Cherokee Nation Early Childhood Unit (ECU).

Karen Ryder, education specialist for the Cherokee Nation ECU, presented DeMoss, with the plaque and a letter from Nila Rinehart, president of the National Indian Head Start Director's Association at an ECU staff appreciation day at the Restaurant of the Cherokees Meeting Room.
In the letter, Rinehart said it was an honor to present this letter of appreciation to DeMoss for the many contributions and dedicated service to children and families.
DeMoss is a Councilman for District 7 in Rogers County.
