TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation will host the second annual Cultural Day from 10 a.m. to noon, Oct. 29. The Cultural Day will be held at the American Legion Building on Main Street in Pryor.All Cherokee Nation Early Childhood Units that are located north of Highway 412 will attend this event to learn more about Cherokee history and culture, as well as, other tribal histories and cultures.
The day will include many cultural activities including blowgun demonstrations, Cherokee marbles, storytelling, basket making, rubber board game, bead making, and flute playing.
The Cherokee Nation Early Childhood Unit staff coordinates and plans all of the day's activities.
