TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation will host the fifth annual James Danielson Children's Village Cultural Day from 10 a.m. to noon October 14. The Cultural Day will be held at the James Danielson Children's Village in TahlequahAll Cherokee Nation Early Childhood Units that are located south of Highway 412 will attend this event to learn more about Cherokee history and culture, as well as, other tribal histories and cultures.
The day will include many cultural activities including blowgun demonstrations, Cherokee marbles, storytelling, basket making, rubber board game, bead making, and flute playing.
The Cherokee Nation Early Childhood Unit staff coordinates and plans all of the day's activities.
