"It was really neat," said Becky Kearns, individual service aide at Okay Head Start.
"A Day on The Farm," was held at the Muskogee Expo Grounds, and was sponsored by the OSU Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service. It was presented as an agriculture awareness program for pre-school age children.
The children were exposed to a petting zoo with sheep, goats, horses, chickens and cows. They also saw a tractor tire toss, a farmer's row and got to watch chicks hatch in an incubator.
"The children loved seeing the baby chicks and petting the animals," Kearns said.
