Tahlequah, OK - The Cherokee Heritage Center will host the Third Annual Spring Gospel Sing at the columns located at the entrance of the Cherokee Heritage Center on Saturday, May 18 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will also be a free hog fry that evening.
"We invite everyone to come out and enjoy an afternoon of music, food and fellowship," said Eli Nofire, coordinator of the event.
Some of the groups scheduled to perform include local area church choirs and singers including the Melody-Aires, the Jackie Kingfisher Family, Kingfisher Quartet, Girty Family, Oklahoma Wildlife, Drywater Family, and the Cherokee Children's Choir, directed by Janice Ballou. Individuals or groups who would like to perform should contact Eli Nofire, phone: 918-456-6007. Bring your lawn chairs and come enjoy an afternoon of outdoor family entertainment.
