TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation will hold a six-week long Cherokee Cultural Immersion Day Camp June 3-July 12 at Sequoyah High School.125 Students between kindergarten and 12th grade will be accepted to participate in the camp on a first-come, first-served basis.
Activities will feature Cherokee language, history, art, music, traditional games and more. The Camp runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, excluding weekends and July 4th and 5th.
Enrollment requirements are a copy of CDIB or Tribal Membership, willingness to abide by camp rules. The cost for the camp is just $20 per week, which includes breakfast, lunch and snack.
Registration deadline for the Cherokee Cultural Immersion Day Camp will be April 19th.
