TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation will host an informational meeting on foot and mouth disease on Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cherokee Nation Community Room.

This informational meeting will cover topics such as how to detect foot and mouth disease, prevent it, and what you can if you spot it. Dr. Brian Espe and staff of the USDA’a Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) will lead the seminar and be on hand to answer any questions.

The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served.

The Cherokee Nation Community Room is located in the same building as the Restaurant of the Cherokees on Highway 62 just south of Tahlequah, adjacent to the Cherokee Nation Tribal Complex.
