STILWELL, OKLAHOMA - The Cherokee Nation Wilma P. Mankiller Dental Clinic recently hosted a poster contest in conjunction with February’s National Children’s Dental Health Month.

Twenty-four eighth grade students from three local schools, Bell, Cave Springs and Dahlonegah participated in this contest.
The themes of the contest was "Don't let your smile become extinct", which isthe American Dental Associations theme for February’s National Children’s Dental Health Month.
A 1st and 2nd place winner were chosen from each school with the exception of Bell, where there were two 2nd place winners, due to a tie.
First place winners were Nathan Harper-Bell, Talitha Fields-Cave Springs, and Cody Bunch-Dahlonegah.
Second place winners were Jody Chuculate and Brandon Cochran-Bell, Lacie Ketcher-Cave Springs and Cory Bryant-Dahlonegah.
A special prize was awarded to each winner and all participants received a certificate of appreciation for their participation, as well as a bag of goodies.
The artwork of the winners will be displayed during the remainder of the month of February on the bulletin board located at the north entrance to the Wilma P. Mankiller Health Center.
