TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation will host a series of community meetings in area communities. On Thursday, February 28th at 10:30 a.m., there will be a community meeting and luncheon with the elders at the Belfonte Senior Citizen Center. On Thursday evening, February 28th at 6:30 p.m., a community meeting will be held at Dry Creek Church. Thursday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m. there will be a community meeting and fundraiser in the Coffeyville Recreation Building located at 508 Park, Coffeyville, Kansas. Principal Chief Chad Smith will attend all community meetings. The public is invited to attend.
