Tahlequah, OK - The Cherokee Heritage Center will host a series of traditional arts classes on Beading and Basketry. The next series of classes will be held Saturday, Feb. 23 and March 2 in the Cherokee Heritage Center Atrium from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost of the two-day class will be $25, which includes all materials, supplies, and lunch. Class size is limited.
Participants will make assorted beadwork items and traditional Cherokee double wall baskets. The instructor is Sandra Pallie. The program is sponsored by Cherokee Heritage Arts, a program designed to teach and preserve traditional Cherokee arts.
