CNECU to Hold Annual Festival of Lights

TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation Early Childhood Unit will host its 7th Annual Festival of Lights Ceremony and Open House beginning at 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 9, at the James Danielson Children’s Village located south of Tahlequah near Sequoyah High School.
The Festival of Lights Ceremony is held each year to begin the Christmas season for the children of Head Start, Early Head Start and Child Development Center and to give thanks for the Children’s Village in honor of James Danielson.
Everyone is invited to attend. Entertainment and refreshments will be provided , and Santa Claus will hand out treats to the children.
