TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation will host "Community Christmas" at Keys Baptist Church on Saturday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m."It should be a good time of fellowship and the Cherokee National Youth Choir sharing our culture and our mission with other people from the Cherokee Nation," said Janice Ballou, choir director for the Cherokee National Youth Choir.
The Cherokee National Youth Choir will perform Christmas songs in both the English and the Cherokee language including Silent Night, Joy to the World, Jingle Bells and many more.
"It's going to be good," Ballou said.
Several other churches in the area will also perform. The public is invited to attend and to celebrate the Christmas season with the Cherokee Nation.
