STILWELL, OK - The Cherokee Nation will be accepting applications from Adair county youth for summer employment positions April 22 through April 25 at the Stilwell Community Learning Center and April 25 through May 18 at the Cherokee Nation complex in Stilwell.Positions are limited so interested applicants are encouraged to apply early. Qualified applicants will be between 14 to 21 years of age, live within the 14 county jurisdictional area of the Cherokee Nation, meet income requirements and be a member of a federally recognized Indian tribe.
Applicants under 17 years of age, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when applying. All applicants need to provide proof of residence, social security card, CDIB card, school identification card, work permit (if under 18 years of age), selective service registration (if 18 years of age or older), and family income for six months immediately preceding the date of the application.
