TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation will offer several emergency medical training courses in the upcoming weeks at the Cherokee Nation Emergency Medical Services building located at 22114 South Bald Hill Road in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

On September 24 and 25, 2001, a CPR class will be held at the EMS building beginning at 6 p.m. The cost is $13.00.

On October 2, 2001, a CPR Class will be held at the EMS building beginning at 9 a.m. The cost is $13.00.

On October 8, 2001, a First Aid Class will be held beginning at 9 a.m. The cost is $15.00.

On October 10 and 12, 2001, a Swiftwater Rescue Training class will be held at the EMS building. Please call Bill Humphrey for more information. The cost is $165.00 plus equipment.

On October 16, 2001, a First Aid Class will be held at the EMS building beginning at 9 a.m. The cost is $15.00.

On October 18 and 19, 2001, a CPR Class will be held at the EMS building beginning at 9 p.m. The cost is $13.00.

On October 23, 2001, a CPR Class will be held at the EMS building beginning at 9 a.m. The cost is $13.00.

First Responder Class will begin October 23, 2001 and end January 8, 2002. This class will meet on Tuesday evenings from 8pm-10pm at the EMS building.

On October 25 and 26, 2001, a Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support will be held at the EMS building beginning at 8 a.m. Cost is $85.00.

Cherokee Nation Emergency Medical Services is approved as a training agency by the Oklahoma State Health Department, Division of EMS.
