PORUM, OKLAHOMA - Cherokee Nation council member Don Garvin will hold a community meeting Monday, November 19, 2001at 6:30 p.m. in Porum in the meeting room at Wheeler Estates.
Garvin will speak on current events within the Cherokee Nation and take questions from tribal members. Ron Qualls, the executive director of the Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation, is also scheduled to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
Garvin represents the Three Rivers district of the Cherokee Nation, which includes parts of Muskogee, McIntosh and Wagoner Counties.
