CNO Offers Self-Employment Workshop

TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma wants to encourage tribal members in their efforts to start their own businesses. The Cherokee Nation Credit and Finance Department will offer a workshop on how to begin funding process of a new business on April 9 at the Cherokee Nation in the Tribal Services Conference room, located on Highway 62 west of Tahlequah.
All lending institutions require a written business proposal in all applications for start-up ventures. Cherokee Nation Credit and Finance representatives will provide technical assistance to tribal members interested in starting a business.
