JAY, OKLAHOMA - Cherokee Nation Tribal Council members Barbara Starr-Scott and Melvina Shotpouch will host a Cherokee community meeting Thursday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Jay Community building. Starr-Scott and Shotpouch will discuss issues related to the Cherokee Nation, including housing and water and sanitation.
Representatives from the Cherokee Nation Community Services group and the Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation will be at the meeting. The Central Delaware County Cherokee Organization is helping to host the event.
