TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation Emergency Medical Services Training Program is offering emergency training courses at the new EMS facilities, located 3 miles south of Tahlequah on Hwy. 62.
Tuesday and Wednesday, February 20 and 21, an 8-hour Emergency Vehicle Operators Course will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost is $35 per person.
Monday, February 26, a Community CPR Class will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost per person is $10.00 plus books.
Beginning on Tuesday, February 27, a 28-hour EMT-Basic, a 36-hour EMT-Intermediate, and a 48-hour EMT-Paramedic Refresher Course will be held. For information on the cost and the class schedule, contact Bill Humphrey, phone: 918-458-5403.
Thursday and Friday, March 1 and 2, a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Class will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For information on the cost, contact Bill Humphrey, phone: 918-458-5403.
Tuesday, March 6, a CPR Class will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The cost per person is $10.00 plus book.
Wednesday, March 7, a CPR Class will be held 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost per person is $10.00 plus book.
March 12, a First Aid Class will be held 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost per person is 15.00 per person.
Wednesday, March 14, a CPR Class will be held 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost per person is $10.00 plus book.
Thursday, March 22, a CPR Class will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The cost per person is $10.00 per person.
Monday and Thursday, March 19, a First Responder Course will be held 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The cost per person is $44.00 plus book.
Monday, March 26, a First Aid Class will be held 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost per person is $15.00 plus book.
Wednesday, March 28, a CPR Class will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost person is $10.00 plus book.
The Cherokee Nation Emergency Medical Services is approved as a training agency by the Oklahoma State Health Department, Division of EMS.
