TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Heritage Center in Tahlequah has joined the National Tour Association, the premier association for group and packaged travel professionals."Membership with NTA will allow the Cherokee Heritage Center to network with other travel industry partners and provide the best-quality services and products to the traveling public," said Barbara Girty, the group sales manager at the Cherokee Heritage Center.
As an NTA member, the Cherokee Heritage Center will also have access to numerous educational opportunities, as well as the networking and business opportunities of an annual convention.
NTA is an organization of nearly 4,000 tourism professionals focused on the development, promotion and increased use of tour operator-packaged travel. NTA serves as a consumer advocate through membership requirements, education, and a $250,000 Consumer Protection Plan. For more information visit the NTA web site.
