TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation, OK, Women Infants and Children (WIC) program has a new addition to the WIC office, "Mommy’s Room.""Mommy’s Room" is a cozy, comfortable room for breastfeeding mothers who are employed at or visiting Cherokee Nation. The room features a nice, comfortable gliding rocker and footstool to relax in while working mothers express and save milk for their baby. There is also a refrigerator available to store expressed breast milk.
