Free Booster Seats For Children

TAHLEQUAH, OK - Children in Adair Country can ride a little safer this winter. A booster seat giveaway will be held at the Stilwell High School Vo-Ag building on Friday, December 14, 2001 from 1:00 until 4:00.
The Adair County Safe Kids, Starr Motor Company, and W.P. Mankiller Clinic sponsor the event. To qualify for a free booster seat children must be certified for WIC, SoonerCare, Food Stamps, or receive Indian commodities. The child must weigh 40-80 pounds and be at least 48 inches tall.
Santa Claus will be handing out candy and fruit to the kids. The Stilwell High School Vo-Ag building is located west of the high school on section line road. For more information call Toney McGee or Shirley Cochran at the W.P. Mankiller Clinic, phone: 918-696-8835.
