TAHLEQUAH, OK - Cherokee Nation WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program provides nutrition, education and vouchers for supplemental foods to infants, children under 5 years of age, and women who are pregnant, postpartum or breastfeeding.Individuals must meet income guidelines and be at nutritional risk to eligible for the program.
Cherokee Nation operates WIC clinics at the following locations: Salina, 989-434-8512; Claremore, 989-342-6370; Tulsa, 382-1290; Muskogee and Warner 989-682-1398; Nowata, 273-0192; Sallisaw, 989-774-1413; Tahlequah, 989-458-3180; Stilwell, and Westville 989-696-8832; Jay, 989-253-4271; Kansas, Okla., (Wednesday and Thursday) 868-2010.
Administrative offices are located at the Cherokee Nation Tribal Complex, 800-256-0671 (ext. 2589) or 989-456-0671 (ext. 2589).
