TAHLEQUAH, OK - Sequoyah High School students who excelled during the first term will receive an all expense paid field trip to Tulsa. The students will be treated to an all you can eat lunch at Casa Bonita, a ticket to Movies 8, and $5.00 spending money to use at the arcade or the movie.
Only those students who are not failing any classes, have less than three tardies in a class, and have not had any incident reports are eligible to go.
"We're extremely proud of the overall behavior our students have exhibited this year. Too often in education, we focus on trouble areas, so this is our way of acknowledging the vast majority of kids who accomplish what we hoped they would," said Tony Pivec, Sequoayh High School Superintendent.
"This is just one of many opportunities available at Sequoyah for area high school students. With the great things going on, we hope more area kids will take a close look to SHS for their education," said Larry Grigg, Trip Sponsor.
