Heritage Center Hosts 'Cherokee Saturday'

TAHLEQUAH, OK The Cherokee Heritage Center will host another "Cherokee Saturday" on Saturday, August 4, 2001. All members of all Cherokee federally recognized tribes and a guest will be admitted free to all attractions and events at the Heritage Center. This includes the Trail of Tears Exhibit, the Joan Hill Exhibit, the Civil War Exhibit, the Cherokee Allotment Exhibit, the Ancient Village, Heritage Farms, and Adams Corner.
It also includes admission to the "Trail of Tears" Drama at the Tsa La Gi Amphitheater beginning at 8 p.m. Cherokees should bring their CDIB cards for admission. For more information, call 918- 456-6007.
