TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Heritage Center will host a traditional Cherokee stickball making class on Saturday, May 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Perry VanBuskirk, manager of the Tsa-La-Gi Ancient Village at the Heritage Center, will teach the class. Students will learn how to make their own ball sticks and the ball used in the traditional Cherokee game of stickball.Cost of the class is $30, which includes lunch and all materials. Because of limited space, students are asked to make their reservations now.
