TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation complex lobby is hosting a quilt show during the month of October. The show is being put together through the efforts of the Deputy Chief’s Office, the Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation and the Cherokee FIRST program.
The quilts on display are for exhibition purposes only, though some may be for sale. Many of the quilts on display include a brief, written history of the quilt, including the pattern, the maker, when it was made, and how and when the owner acquired the quilt.
