Stilwell, OK - Two radiology technicians of the Wilma P. Mankiller Health Center in Stilwell were recognized recently during the National Indian Health Service/Management Imaging Personnel Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
Rhonda Brown of Hulbert has been with the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma for five years and was honored as "Mammographer of the Year;" Shannon Salazar of Stilwell has been employed by the tribe for one year and was honored as "Outstanding Technologist of the Year."
"We want to congratulate Rhonda and Shannon for their outstanding achievements and for their contributions to Indian Health Care," said Dayna Hume, radiology department supervisor.
