TAHLEQUAH, OK - Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma executive, Larry Ketcher, has been elected chairman of the National Indian and Native American Employment and Training Conference. Ketcher will plan next year's conference and assumes a spot on the Native American Employment and Training Council.

"On the council, I'll be able to talk directly to Department of Labor on issues that affect the Cherokee Nation," said Ketcher. "It's good for Cherokees to have a leadership role on the national level."

Ketcher is the Director of Employment and Training for the Cherokee Nation.
