MELVINA SHOTPOUCH, Cherokee Nation Tribal Councilor for District 5, Delaware and Ottawa Counties, visited the Jay I and II Head Start centers April 17 and read a book to the children. The reading is a part of the Early Childhood Unit's Read Aloud Project, which invites guests to read to children in any Head Start and Early Head Start Center of their choice.
