CNO Tribal Youth Council Sworn In

Tahlequah, OK - Six new Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) Tribal Youth Council members were sworn into office on December 4, 1999 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The new youth council members were sworn in by CNO Judical Appeals Tribunal, Associate Justice, Darrell Dowty.

Rachel Clarkson of Broken Arrow will represent the Oologah District, Tulsa and Washington Counties. Clarkson is a freshman at the University of Central Oklahoma where she is Miss Indian UCO. She also was recently crowned Miss Indian Territory for Broken Arrow.


There are two representatives for District 5, which is in Delaware County. Angela Sandoval and Lukas Thompson both of Grove were sworn in as the representatives for District 5.


There are also two representatives for District 6, in Mayes County.
Elisa Henson, of Salina, and Vince Feeling, of Locust Grove , were sworn in as the two representatives for District 6, Mayes County.



Sara Mocabee of Claremore will represent District 7, Rogers County.
