LOCUST GROVE, OK - The Cherokee Rainbow House is holding its first Christmas program for the children on December 19 and 20, 1998. The Rainbow House is sponsored by the Cherokee Elders Council Inc. The Cherokee Rainbow House serves underprivileged people in eastern Oklahoma.The starting times for both days are 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Gifts will be given to children, up to the age of 12, and refreshments will be served. A spokesperson said, that so far more than 300 children have signed up.
