TAHLEQUAH, OK - Sequoyah Alumni will Honor the "Class of 1949" at Sequoyah High School 53rd annual banquet this year. The banquet will be held at the Restaurant of the Cherokees.

On Friday night, April 30th, 1999, a social is being held at Tahlequah Motor Lodge. Plan to visit with everyone as they come into Tahlequah. On Saturday, May 1, 1999, there will be golf, a business meeting, the banquet and a dance.

This annual event, sponsored by the Sequoyah Alumni Association, began in 1946. The school is located southwest of Tahlequah.
