TAHLEQUAH - The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma's (CNO) Tribal Rights Office is accepting applications for fire fighters. The applicants must be in good physical condition and will be required to pass a step test, be at least 18 years of age, and a member of a federally recognized Indian tribe.

Step tests will be given on April 5 through 9. The composite score of the test step, is determined by pulse rate, which is determined by the age and weight of the applicant.
