Remember to put it on an index card. We are only focusing on the command 'you'. When you play the sound file you will hear the phrase broke down into syllables and you will hear the conversational pronunciation. The other commands will be used at a later date. Move (out of the way) Ha-da-nv-na You move. Ga-da-nv-na Let me move. Hi-na-da-nv-na You and I move. Hi-tsa-da-nv-na You all move. Hi-da-da-nv-na You all and me move. Here are some exercises to practice these commands. 1.. When you say the command to 'move' take the person and actually move them out of the way. Once you are through remember to say "S-gi". 2.. Command someone to move and use you a hand gesture to get them to move out of the way. 3.. Sound out the syllables and count each syllable on your fingers until you can say the command correctly. 4.. Use each command at least 25 times. 5.. When you are in your car and the person in front of you is poking along rather then use an obscenity yell at them in Cherokee, " Move out of the way". 6.. Now use the commands that you already know (Stand, Sit, Sing, Dance and Move Out Of The Way) and make an exercise. Try to use no English. ______________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, write to cwylanguage-unsubscribe@listbot.com .
