Today I am going to give you the phrases for "Where are you going"? But first we must learn the question, "Where". Where? Ga-tsv Things to remember: This is word that can be used by itself just as you would in English. In the Oklahoma dialect you will hear this word pronounced as (ha-tlv). Where are you going? Ga-tsv wi-ga-ti Formal Ga-tsv wi-g-ti Conversational Things to remember: You can only use this phrase if the person is already in the process of going. Let's say you were walking down the road and you meet up with a friend who is travelling in the opposite direction, you could ask him, (Ga-tsv- wi-g-ti). I only recorded the conversational because you will always here it in this form. Where are you going? Ga-tsv te-si Formal Ga-tsv te-s Conversational Things to remember: You can only use this phrase before the person is in the process of going. Let's say you are sitting with your friend and all of a sudden he starts putting on his coat like he is preparing to leave, you would ask him (Ga-tsv te-si). I recorded both formal and conversational uses because you will hear both. ______________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, write to cwylanguage-unsubscribe@listbot.com .
