Remember what I told you in the 'Immersion Lesson', only focus on the single command "you" and the others will be used at a latter time. When you play the sound file I will be sounding the word out by syllables and the pronouncing it in the conversational form of Cherokee. Stand Up Ta-li-hv-ga You stand. Di-tsa-li-hv-ga Let me stand. Di-na-li-hv-ga You and I stand. Di-tsa-li-hv-ga You all stand. Di-da-li-hv-ga You all and me stand. Sit Down Ha-hv-ga You sit down. Ga-v-ga Let me sit down. Hi-na-hv-ga You and I sit down. Hi-tsa-nv-v-ga You all sit down. Hi-da-nv-v-ga You all and me sit down. Here are some exercises to practice these commands. 1.. When you say the command to 'stand' use your hands in an upward motion and when you say 'sit down" use your hands in a down ward motion. 2.. Command someone to stand and sit and make that person actually perform the action. 3.. Sound out the syllables and count each syllable on your fingers until you can say the command correctly. 4.. Use each command at least 25 times. ______________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, write to cwylanguage-unsubscribe@listbot.com .
