In our past lessons, I have been teaching you useful words and phrases to give you a basis to start. Now we want to start incorporating them into conversations. These conversations will be entirely in the conversational form. If certain words need more attention, I will put an (*) beside them and go to the end of the page for more information. In the beginning, the conversations will be somewhat general as I use words and phrases that you should be familiar with. I will also incorporate new words and phrases into our lessons as we continue to learn the Cherokee language. In our first conversation, John and Mary greet each other along the road.
