As the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma's (CNO) run-off election date draws near the Chad Smith and Hastings Shade ticket is picking up endorsements. The run-off election is scheduled for Saturday, July 24, 1999.

Absentee ballots, for the upcoming Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) run-off election, are available to citizens of the CNO that are eligible to vote. The absentee ballots will be available for request until July 6, 1999.
